Summary:
In March 2015, Harvard’s Center on the Developing Child released a study saying, “Every child who winds up doing well has had at least one stable and committed relationship with a supportive adult.” Harvard’s Center on the Developing Child was looking at why do some children bounce back from experiences and others don’t as easily? As parents we all want our children to be successful, happy, adjusted adults but it can seem overwhelming to figure out the perfect map to get our kids there. “Fostering Youth Resiliency: The Need for Relationships” looks at how we can understand our adolescent children and key tools to help them through the challenge of adolescence.
