Summary:
ACE Interface is a training program for learners of all backgrounds on the science of trauma and resilience. It is used to promote an understanding of ACE and resilience science to improve health and well-being across the lifespan. Learners will discuss the ways they can promote resilience and create thriving communities.

 

Presenter:
Suzanne Martinez is Coordinator for Congregational Outreach, for the Office for Mission and Spiritual Care for Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, Condell Medical Center and Sherman Hospital. Suzanne’s primary role is to coordinate and supervise the congregational health ministries, such as educational seminars, health screenings and other health and wellness opportunities offered to congregations. She acts as a liaison with faith communities and clergy related to the work of Mission and Spiritual Care. Suzanne develops and initiates new programs and activities which strengthen the partnership between Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, Condell Medical Center and Sherman Hospital and congregations all the while promoting health and wellness of body, mind and spirit, a “wholistic” approach to caring for the whole person.
