C.A.R.E. = Child and Adolescent Recovery Experience

Family CARE began soon after being awarded the Children's Mental Health Initiative-System of Care grant, in partnership with the State of Illinois, by the United States Department of Health and Human Services. Family CARE will help transform the way care is delivered to children and adolescents who have a serious emotional disturbance and their families, living in the county. Family CARE is funded on the principle that families and youth take the lead in developing and driving the delivery of their own services and treatment as well as the transformation of the system of care for children and adolescents.
